Storyboard



In scenes 1-6 we will be using just a black screen or dark screen to start off the short film. It will have all of the titles throughout them. Scene 1 with have the name of the studio title. Scene 2 will have the name of production title. Scene 3,4, and 5 will all have the actors names titles on them. Scene 6 has the name of the film. 


Scenes 7-9 will also be dark screens with titles on it. Scene 7 has the music by title. Scene 8 has the edited by title, and scene 9 has the directed by title which is the last title before going into the actual movie. 



In scene 10 we will shoot the main character getting out of the car. For this scene we will use a wide angle to show the boy getting out of the car and the background of where is at/The location of this will be on my street.




In scene 11 we will use a medium shot to show the boy and the guy who hit him having a discussion about what’s happening. The location will still be on the street. 





In scene 12 we will use a close up shot to show the guy handing the boy his insurance and number. This is still at the same setting. 

For scene 13 POV shot of the boy seeing that he got a text message from someone. A text message sound will play in the background and it will be filmed on the same street. 


For scene 14 we use a long shot to show the boy and the man standing in the street and the boy says bye and walks to his car. 


Scene 15 will be shot using a tracking shot to show the boy walking to and getting into his car. 


Scene 16 will be filmed using a close up shot to show closely who texted him and what they said. 


In scene 17 we will use a wide shot to show the boy pulling into a grocery store parking lot. This will be an establishing shot to show that the setting changed from the seat to the store. 


In scene 18 we will use a tracking shot of the boy getting out of his car and walking into the grocery store. 

In scene 19 he looks around a while to gather his things and then goes to the check out line. We will film the scene using a long shot to show his entire body while walking around the store. 


In scene 20 the boy will become very dizzy and starts to spin. We will film this using a disoriented angle and a close up shot to show the boys facial expressions and his eyes to understand what he’s feeling. 


In scene 21 we will continue using a close up but fade the disoriented angle to normal so you can tell the boy is starting to be ok again. 


In scene 22 we will use a low angle to show the boy getting into the car with his grocery’s and him driving off. 


For scene 23 we will use another wide short to show the boy unpacking the grocery’s from his car and bringing them inside. This is an establishing type shot to show the new setting.


In scene 24 his mom comes in and has a conversation with him about his day and the accident but she’s being very weird. We will use a shot reverse shot to show the conversation and who is saying what along with their facial expressions to understand their feeling. 

In scene 25 he starts to get dizzy again and his memory starts to fog but he doesn’t say anything he just goes to his room. This will be done using both a zoom in his face and a tracking shot of him walking to his room.


In scene 26 he gets a call from his friends to go hang out at the mall. This will use a medium close up shot to show only the boys face and him on the phone. 


In scene 27 he says yes to his friends, hangs up and walks to his car. We will film this using a high angle and long shot. 


For scene 28 we will film him getting to the mall and meeting his friends. This will be a wide shot of the new setting so another establishing type shot. 


For scene 29 we will film a tracking shot of the boy and his friends walking into the mall  to shop for t-shirts.


In scene 30 one of the friends asks him if he is ok. This is going to be shot using an over the shoulder shot to show the friends talking to the boy and shows his concerned facial expressions.

In scene 31 there will be a close up of the boys face saying yes and the camera will use a pan to scan the rest of the store. 


In scene 32 there will be a wide shot of the boy and his friends entering the vans store. 


In scene 33 the boys will be trying on glasses at the sunglasses store. This will be filmed using a medium close up showing them from the shoulders up trying on glasses. 


In scene 34 the boy and his friends will be sitting outside a restaurant with food. This scene will be shot using a wide shot. 


In scene 35-37 the boys will be window shopping and having causal conversation using a variety of angles such as high angles and Birds Eye as well as closeup and long shots. 

In scene 38 the boy will say bye to his friends. This will be shot using a shot reverse shot to show him saying bye then his friends saying goodbye. 


In scene 39 the boy gets home and his mom starts to hug him a lot. This will be shot using a low angle and a long shot. 


In scene 40 the dad comes over and hugs the boy and hugs him as well. This will be done using a medium long shot and a low angle. 


In scene 41 they both start to say u love you over and over again which is weird form them. This will be shot using a high angle. 


In scene 42 he is confused so he tells them he is super tired and decides to go to his room. This is shot using a tracking shot and medium long angle. 

In scene 43 he starts to feel really dizzy again. This will be shot using a disoriented angle to and a zoom. 


In scene 44 he hears random angles and starts to fall and faint. This will be shot using a disoriented angle as well and high angle to look down him. 


In scene 45 the boy faints. This will be shot using a tracking shot to watch him fall to the floor. 


In scene 46 the boys friend comes over and walks up the stairs. The will be shot using a low angle looking up the stairs.


In scene 47 his friend is facing her back to the camera knocking on the door and then rushing in when no one answers. This scene is shot using a medium shot. 


In scene 48 someone calls 911. This is shot using an eye level shot and is mainly sound.

In scene 49 the screen goes black. No angles or shots are needed here. 


In scene 50 he’s awake at the hospital in an empty room. This will be a wide establishing shot to show he is in the hospital a new setting and he is all alone. 


In scene 51 he is hearing random noises like “wake up” and “I love you” but the screen is black. No angle or shot is needed. 


In scene 52 he is confused and crying. This is shown using an extreme close up of tears streaming down his face in the hospital room. 


In scene 53 he hears the hospital machine beeping and slowly wakes up. This will be a very blurry scene but using a medium close up to show his face and a little more of his surrounding. 


In scene 54 everyone around his room jumping and super happy that he woke up. This is shot using a wide shot to show the entire room with everyone in it. 

In scene 55 he asks what happened to him with a confused look on his face. This will be shot with a close up and high angle. 


In scene 56 they tell him that he’s been in a coma for a year since he got in a really bad crash. This will be a POV shot of what the boy is seeing from his bed. 


In scene 57 he cry’s and says he thought he was awake this whole time. He explains his dream while in a coma. This will be shot using a shot reverse shot to capture everyone’s reaction. 


In scene 58 the hospital machine starts beeping again and shows a close up of his face.


In scene 59 the boy says bye. This is an extreme blurry close up of his face 


In scene 60 the hospital machine flatlines and goes pitch black.
