Writing, Writing, Writing!

Hey there! This is the last day we had before we film and I wanted to really get everything done as much as possible that can be done without the film. I wanted to do this because once we film we will have to focus on editing and perfecting the film. This means I just have to complete the last couple of steps to finish on the website. All I had to do was fill in the content on the website, like the reviews and film festivals we have won.

The first section of the website I filled in was a general introduction and information about our film "The Crash". I wrote, "The Crash is a student short film based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Our goal is to promote and showcase The Crash to a wide audience, serving as a platform to generate interest and attract viewers. We believe in entertaining and enticing viewers interested in a dramatic story following our main character Jack. Jack gets into a car accident one morning, and it's no more than a little inconvenience right? Watch to find out!"

Next, I did some research into both local and international film festivals. I then chose the Tribeca Festival and the Cannes Film Festival to say we had participated in and won. I wrote two small paragraphs about our film winning these festivals and put them in the website.

Lastly, I wrote a review for the film to include in the website. This is what I wrote, "The Crash" is a gripping and thought-provoking short film that will leave a lasting impact on viewers. Its complex characters, tense atmosphere, and stellar performances make it a standout in the world of short films. Don't miss your chance to experience this cinematic gem." I also made it so the review was written by popular short film critic, Roger Ebert.

I am happy now that the content of the website is finished. There is no more work I can do on the website until I have visuals from filming so for now, I am done. Lola is continuing to work on the postcard with Jack as much as they can as well.

We are all set to complete our film on time and properly.
