The Car Crash

Hey there! Yesterday my group and I got together again to continue filming. After school we all drove to Lola's house to film the car scenes outside of her house. We used my car and Lola's car for the scenes. We started with the crash scene and shots of Jack driving in his car. This was a bit of a challenge to get the right angles as there is limited space in a car. We ended up having the person filming wither in the car with Jack or filming through an open window. After we got a few shots like this we filmed the car crash scene. This was also a challenge to film since we didn't want to actually crash our cars. We talked about it a little bit to get some ideas and we decided that we can just do a black screen with car crash noises to add dramatic effect and achieve the desired dramatic effect. Next we had to film the short scenes with a cop and Jack getting a ticket. We had to make sure this was filmed correctly to really show the annoyance in Jack's day that this crash caused. We got one of Jack's friends to play the cop since we couldn't use someone who we had playing as a friend in the mall scenes. We gave him the lines to say and told him to wear blue. This is so he can seem like a cop as best as possible. After these scenes were done the sun was starting to set and it was the end of the films we had planned for the day. So we called it a wrap on filming
and plan to film the rest of the scenes this week.

Other than filming I was also able to do more work on the website. I was able to put in some photos from our first day of filming. The website really looks like it’s coming together and we are almost done with filming, we are really in the home stretch!
