New Year, New Group
I have a brand new group for A-Level this year! Most of my group didn't decide to do A-Level after completing AS-Level. I also didn't work as well with my previous group as I would have liked to. My new group, Lola Mackie and Jack Lynch, I hope will be even more successful. I watched some of each of their projects from AS-Level and was very impressed. They were all very creative ideas and well executed with good editing and filming. I knew they would be the perfect people to work with. I even got them to group with me even though they had other people they thought they would group with. They were going to work with their group from last year but I showed them my work and convinced them to join me so we can create the best product possible. I have faith that we will do just that. Already, I have seen how creative Lola's ideas are, which will be perfect to come up with a plot for our short film. Jack's determination has shone through in our first days of discussing this project. These factors make me confident in my new group.
I only know Lola and Jack to a very limited extent outside of class so I am excited to get to know them better. Lola plays soccer and Jack plays baseball. Being fellow athletes we all understand having busy schedules and what planning to film will entail. We will have to plan around practices and games for all of our respective sports. They also both have other friends that are willing to help out and be parts in our short film if we need. Overall, my group is going to produce an amazing short film this year and have fun at the same time. I can't wait to get started!
