Getting the Ball Rolling

 Hey there! We're finally here in my favorite part of this project, the filming! My group and I can't wait to get to filming and editing but there are some things that need to be taken care of first. To start, we have to get the props needed to start filming next week. In my group Jack will get the medical props like a stethoscope and any other medical paraphernalia he can find for the hospital scenes. Lola and I will both bring our cars so we can film a car crash, and Lola will bring anything else that will make an area look like a car crash. I will then also bring any sort of everyday items we will need. This will be things like coffee cups and shopping bags for the mall scenes. I know Lola has prepared her props so now Jack and I just have to be prepared before next week. We are planning to film next Monday on President's day since we have no school. A Day at the Mall!

 Hey there! I'm happy to report that my group and I have finally started filming. We got together over the weekend and got some filming done. We met up at the Galleria mall to film the mall scenes. This was a good start for us so we could get into the groove of filming. The people who came ended up being me, Lola, Jack, and our friends Nate and Tanner. We all got together at the food court to decide the shops we wanted to film in. The first place we went was Pacsun. We had to talk to the workers at all of the stores to make sure it was okay that we were filming. I was behind the camera while Lola, Nate, Jack, and Tanner acted as a friend group shopping at the store. I gave them directions and made sure we had the right angles to portray our story. Next we went to the Apple store and did a similar process of filming. We repeated this process with two more stores to make sure we had a good amount of takes to use. Last Minute Changes

Our original story board tells the story of a girl that is being followed by a masked figure who seems to only be around as a reflection. She first sees it in the morning as she gets ready, and then in a car window reflection in a parking lot, and finally she confronts it at the beach with her friends after running from it all day. We realized a couple of problems with this idea when we started filming.  First, we didn't have a way to get to a parking lot of the beach. We had originally thought we could walk or have one of our parent's drive us. The problem was that it was too far to walk with not enough time, and none of our parents were available. We realized this once we got to Macy's house to film so we started discussing what else to do instead. We could do the bathroom scene like we had planned, but had to adjust the other scenes. We wanted to still incorporate the car, so we decided to still do it, just not at a cafe parking lot. We used it as a way for her to be run...
